Tasting Notes:
A classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape – bold, rich with oodles of red and dark fruit. It fills the mouth with a great structure, has a slight sweetness, and savoury nuances of leather, earth and turfy style. Finishing long with rich aromas of liquorice and unctuous red berry fruits from the Grenache balanced against the restraint and sophistication of Syrah.

The Mestre family is amongst the oldest in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Monique and Jean Claude Mestre created their own farm with part of the vines from its origin called the Côte de l’Ange in the 1960s.
