Originating from vineyards including the historic Côte de l’Ange site, established in the 1960s by Monique and Jean-Claude Mestre, this wine reflects generations of tradition and terroir expression. It delivers a bold yet refined Southern Rhône character with depth, structure, and richness.

Tasting Notes
A powerful and generous expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine is rich with layers of red and dark fruit. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with a subtle natural sweetness and savory complexity. Notes of leather, earth, and herbal undertones add depth, while Grenache brings ripe, unctuous red berry fruit. Syrah contributes elegance and restraint, balancing the wine with finesse. The finish is long and expressive, with lingering flavors of licorice, spice, and dark fruit concentration.

Food Pairing
Perfect with beef, lamb, duck confit, roast duck, roast pigeon, chicken, foie gras, and hot pot. It also pairs beautifully with mushroom dishes, truffle-based recipes, creamy sauces, and richly spiced or mildly spicy cuisine.
