This elegant Bordeaux wine from Pomerol comes from Château de Valois, an estate with origins dating back to 1862, when parts of the historic Château Figeac vineyards were restructured. Under the care of Frédéric Leydet, the estate follows organic farming practices, hand harvesting, and long oak maturation, preserving the authenticity and depth of the Pomerol terroir. Aged for 15 months in oak and refined on lees without racking, this wine expresses richness, purity, and classic Right Bank elegance.

Tasting Notes
The nose is expressive and layered, bursting with aromas of blackberries, warm spice, oak, and cedar wood. On the palate, the wine is rich and generous, supported by balanced acidity and fine structure. Soft tannins provide a velvety texture, while ripe fruit flavors unfold with elegance and depth. The finish is fresh yet lingering, leaving a harmonious impression of fruit, spice, and subtle oak complexity.
Food Pairing
Perfect with beef, lamb, game meats, foie gras, roast duck, roast pork, veal, chicken, mushroom dishes, truffle-based cuisine, and red wine–sauced preparations. It also pairs beautifully with creamy dishes and even dark chocolate-based recipes.
