Château de Valois dates back to 1862 when the original vineyards of Château Figeac were restructured. To preserve the authenticity of Pomerol terroir, Frederic Leydet practices organic agriculture, hand-harvesting, maturation in oak barrels for 15 months and aging on lees without racking.
