With a beautiful bright ruby colour, this wine is intensely fruity on the nose. The aroma reminiscences black cherry, wild blackberry and liquorice while its woody character remains subtle. As it evolves, more complex notes appear such as mild spice, nutmeg, leather, and maybe mushroom and damp-earthy notes. While present on the palate, the tannin is never astringent and blends itself harmoniously with its natural freshness and velvety texture of the wine.
